How to Copy Pictures from Computer to iPad?
Q: Hi all. I'm new to this forum. I'm 71 years old and have never done anything with i-anything. I'm very familar with computers and digital cameras. This looks like a very well informed forum so I thought I would ask "how do I download photos from my PC to iPad?". I talked to a guy at an Apple store and he said go to itunes. I've also googled and still can't find what I need! Can anybody help me?

Before proceeding, please make sure that your iPad is plugged in to your computer.
Step 1: Click on the iPad in iTunes under Devices. Click the Photos tab.

Step 2. If you are running iTunes on a Mac and use iPhoto to manage your pictures, select iPhoto from the Sync Photos from drop-down. Otherwise click Choose folder… to locate the directory containing the photos you wish to sync with your iPad.

Step 3. When the folder location window opens (same on Mac and Windows), find and select the folder containing the picture you wish to sync. Click Choose to continue. When you come back to iTunes you will notice that you have the option of syncing All folders or Selected folders within the directory you selected.

Step 4. Click on Apply to save the settings and sync with your iPad.
